Every living thing moves along a thread of fate—the sum of its choices, its momentum, its likelihood. You do not predict the thread. You reach into it and cut.
Choose a creature you can see within 30 meters. The target must make a Resolve skill check contested by your Magic skill.
- On a failure, the creature takes Mental damage equal to the margin of failure + d6 as the severance reverberates through its mind.
- For a number of turns equal to your Magic skill, the target must make all attack rolls and skill checks with Disadvantage, as its connection to likely outcomes is cut and chance turns against it.
- At the end of each of its turns, the target may attempt a Resolve vs your Magic check. On a success, the Disadvantage effect ends early. The Mental damage cannot be reversed.
